How can we help?
The questions that come up most are answered here. For anything else, write to support@linpile.com. A person reads it.
Write to us
If it is about your progress or a garden for two, add your member ID (it looks like LP-XXXX-XXXX and is in Settings → Member). Never send your restore key: nobody at Linpile needs it.
How do I move my progress to a new phone?
Install Linpile on the new phone and choose “I already have a member ID” when it starts, or open Settings → Member later. Type your member ID and your restore key. Your words, coins and gardens come over, and so does your unlock of the garden for two.
The old phone notices that the member has moved. It keeps what was on it, but lets go of the member.
Where do I find my member ID and my restore key?
Both are on your member card in Settings → Member, on the phone you use Linpile on. The app also showed them when you set it up.
I lost my restore key. Can you send it to me?
No. Only a scrambled form of the key is stored on Linpile’s server, so nobody can look it up. As long as the app is on your phone, the key is on your member card in Settings → Member: write it down somewhere safe.
How does the garden for two work?
Open Garden → Together. Each of you needs a member ID and unlocks the garden for two once: it is a one-time purchase in the App Store, not a subscription. Then one of you makes a six-character code and the other types it in.
Each of you picks a ribbon colour. Plants cost the coins of whoever plants them and wear that person’s ribbon. You can share a garden with one person at a time.
I bought the garden for two, but it is still locked.
Open Garden → Together and choose “Restore purchase”. If that doesn’t help, write to us with your member ID.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles the payment, so refunds go through Apple: open reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase.
Can I buy coins?
No. Coins come from right answers only: one for every right answer, two in Sentences and for the answer that makes a word learned.
Which languages and levels are there?
German (1212 words) and Turkish (1140 words), levels A1 and A2. The app itself is in English. You can start at A2 if you pass a short check of ten words.
More words and more languages are on the way.
A word or a sentence is wrong.
Thank you for noticing. Write to support@linpile.com with the word and what is wrong with it, and it will be corrected in an update.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Delete my member removes your member, its backup and its sign-in from Linpile’s server straight away, and from your phone. A garden you share stays with your friend.
If you no longer have the app, write to support@linpile.com with your member ID, and it is deleted within one month. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Who makes Linpile?
